I created an App in Admob and integrated the Unit ID into an Android Game.  The game is live in Google Play.  I mistakenly set the app platfrom to iOs in the admob console instead of Android, but didn't catch this mistake until I had alread released the app.  So I am presumably serving iOS Ads in my Android app.  Is there anyway to change the app type from iOS to Android in the Admob Console?  Otherwise, I will have to go into the code and update the Unit ID.

I have the admob unit ID integrated into multiple android games so it would be much easier if I could change the platform from the console, rather than go into each one.

Thanks.

Hi there,

The ads should serve fine and you shouldn't have any problem. However, there's no way to update the device type in the admob interface.

While you don't have to change the ad unit ID, we suggest creating a new ad unit ID for each ad placement and definitely suggest at least having different ad unit IDs for different apps. This makes it easier to draw conclusions from analytics and protects all of your other ad placements in case on gets banned/disabled.

Hope this helps,
