Illegalstateexception caused by zzma.getadunitid

I am seeing these crash reports in Google play console for the past few days and the problem is that this keeps happening only on Android 7.1 devices only.

The crash report is like this:
Java.Lang.illegalstateexception at com.google.android.gms.internal.adszzma.getadunitid

Hi,

Thank you for providing to us a screenshot of the crash report.

It seems like the IllegalStateException was triggered inside the onFinish of your custom CountDownTimer where you seem to be making the method call to the SDK. That said, for us to have a closer look on this, could you provide to us snippets of your code implementation or better yet, a test project where the exception is easily reproducible? You may share this to us privately using Reply privately to author option.
