Having trouble with setting the refreshInterval from the client side
(Android) . The Ad server appears to sending an Ad every 1.6 s or so
irrespective of what is set in the following.

<com.google.ads.AdView android:id="@+id/adView"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
ads:adSize="BANNER"
ads:adUnitId="xxxx"
ads:refreshInterval="60"
/>

Another puzzle is adview.isRefreshing() is false.

What a, I missing ?

With the new SDK 4.1.0 , we need to st refresh interval using app settings on the admob site only
From your app , select Manage Settings--> app settings,
no need to do it in source code or xml

On the website under Manage Settings -> App Settings, the refresh
interval comment says "(12 - 120 seconds)"

Be sure to set it for at least 13 seconds, or the ad/your app will
post an error (not fatal, but obviously not something that you want on
your app).

Can someone from Admob take a look at that? It's not a big deal, but
I'm sure a lot of new Admob users either don't know or will never know
(if they don't check the error logs properly).

Hi,

I want to controll the refresh manually (by code) but the No Refresh option isn't working for me, the ad just keep refreshing itself, any thoughts?

Unfortunately we don't provide a way to modify the refresh rate through the code. However, setting the option to 'No refresh' in the admob console should work. Are you sure you're hitting 'Save Settings' after you check that option?
