Interstitial ads displayed under Android navigation bar

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with interstitial ads on my Android app. On some devices, the ads appear under the native Android navigation bar (the system bar with the back/home/recent buttons).

This causes a problem when the "Close" button of the ad is located at the bottom of the screen — it becomes partially or fully hidden behind the navigation bar, making it difficult or impossible for users to close the ad properly.

I’m using standard AdMob implementation with react-native-admob, and this issue seem to affect only interstitials.

Is there a recommended way to ensure interstitials are fully visible above the navigation bar, or to force them to position their UI elements accordingly?

I use API 35 of android
Version of adsmobile is : "react-native-google-mobile-ads": "^14.0.0",

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.

According to the Google Mobile Ads SDK documentation, we support the following platforms: 

• Android
• iOS
• Unity
• Flutter

Since React native implementation is not in the list of the supported platforms mentioned above, we will not be able to support.

Kindly note the Interstitial Ads issue on Android 15 is a known issue and our engineering team has been actively working on this issue.
