Hi there,

Apologises if this question has been posted before... I couldn't find information on the matter.

I am interested to know how long a banner ad has to be shown on a ViewControlller (VC) for it to count as an impression.

I could only find.... the ad only has to show 1 pixel for it to count as an impression.

What if my user is on my VC for 10 minutes compared with another user that is on my VC for 1 second?  I understand that the ad gets refreshed every 30/45/60 seconds.  So perhaps this would count as another impression?

Currently my banner ad is animated every 30 seconds to show my app logo for a couple of seconds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

Hi there,

As soon you load a new ad and show it to the user (min 1px), it would count as an impression. There is no timeframe as such as the impression ping would be fired as soon it's visible to user. This will happen for every newly received ad.

Thanks,
