Release 11.6.0 crashes on MacOS because of the MarketplaceKit

The Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK crashes when built on macOS with the following error:

"Failed to look up symbolic reference at 0x106e6239d - offset 1051235 - symbol symbolic _____Sg 14MarketplaceKit14AppDistributorO in /private/var/folders/wc/ksnj4wwx5153839bbk021qf00000gp/X/E20F2BD5-8EA1-5D04-9F98-C0408F425732/d/Wrapper/Demo.app/Demo."

This issue is consistently reproducible in the Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK demo app from GitHub:
