Hi there,

Sounds like a serving/account related issue. See if you are able to load ads with our sample apps with your Ad Unit ID. If you are not, then send us your Ad Unit ID and we will have a look. Also note that if you are unable to load ads only when using your Bundle ID, then you need to contact our AdMob Product Support team who would be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Arjun Busani

Hi there,

I was able to load Banner Ads using your Ad Unit ID and our sample apps without any issues. Can you check what error is being thrown by the AdListener callback and let us know?

Thanks,

Bundle extras = new Bundle();
extras.putBoolean("is_designed_for_families", true);

AdRequest adRequest = new AdRequest.Builder().addNetworkExtrasBundle(AdMobAdapter.class, extras).tagForChildDirectedTreatment(true).addTestDevice(AdRequest.DEVICE_ID_EMULATOR).build();
mAdView.loadAd(adRequest);

Hi there,

Thank you for providing the error logs. The "Failed to load ad: 3" error means that your ad request was successful but there are no available ads from the ad server. Adding Child-directed setting and Designed for Families setting may lead to fewer filled impressions because these targeting options filter out ads to those that are compliant only which may result to the No fill error.

Using the sample app, I was able to load and display ads using your Ad Unit ID. After adding the targeting options specified in your code, I was able to replicate the No fill error. I suggest that if the No fill error persists, it would be best if you raise this concern to the AdMob Product Support Team.

Also, maybe you can consider using only one of the 2 targeting options and see if that will have any changes with the frequency of the No fill issue. Take note that if you're opt in to the Designed for Families program, only then it is required that the "is_designed_for_families" parameter is set to true.

Best Regards,

Hello there,

Using your Ad Unit ID with the sample app and removing the target filters, I was able to get consecutive "No fill" errors for some time, but eventually was able to load an ad. After which, I received consecutive "No fill" errors again.

I suggest that after you've opted out from the design for families program and remove the target filters, can you try mediating to other third party network/s and check if that could help lessen the "No fill" error frequency.

You may also contact the AdMob Product Support team to raise your ad serving issue and double-check on your Ad Unit ID/s in question.

Hello there,

I was able to load ads using your Ad Unit ID with the sample app multiple times.

Please verify the following:
1. Can you try testing your app on a different device and on a different time frame and see if you can get ads?
2. Can you also verify if you have any ad blockers in your device or any installed apps that blocks advertising?
3. Have you tried your Ad Unit ID with the sample app and see if you can load ads?
4. Have you tried mediating to other third-party ad networks and see if it will lessen No fill error frequency?
5. Can you try creating another Ad Unit ID and see if you still can't load ads?
6. Can you also share us your Charles logs?

If issue still persist, it will be best if you double check with the AdMob Product Support team.

Hello there,

As my colleague has stated, we are able to receive ads using our sample apps without problems.
However, you said you tried to create a new Ad Unit ID and it still does not serve ads using the sample Bundle ID. I tried the Bundle ID you provided and I was able to replicate your issue.
As previously stated by my colleague Veer, if ads are not being served while using only your Bundle ID, you need to contact our Product Support Team for them to assist you further. Be sure to include your Bundle ID in your message so it would be resolved faster.

Hi there,

The Product Support Team is a separate team from us that handles non-SDK related concerns.
However, rest assured that they will answer your concern as soon as possible.
