Ads and UMP consent do not show if device is using a VPN connection on iOS

Hello,

I'm having issues loading ads and showing the UMP consent dialog on an iOS application, using the Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK, when the device is connected to a VPN network. Even if the selected network is of the same country of the app's target audience the ads do not load and the consent is not requested. As soon as I disable the VPN everything works fine.
Is there any way of using the SDK and a VPN connection at the same time without having these issues?

By reviewing your concern, I understand that Ads and UMP consent do not show if the device is using a VPN connection on iOS.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to use the Google Mobile Ads SDK and a VPN connection at the same time without having the issues you are describing. This is because VPNs can mask the user's IP address and location, which can make it difficult for the SDK to accurately determine the user's consent status and serve relevant ads. We recommend that users disable their VPN connection when using your app if they want to see ads and be able to give or revoke consent for their data to be used for personalized advertising.
