Hi Team,

For the life of me I can't upload a simple HTML5 banner campaign to Google Ad Mob. It's passed all Google Web Designer checks and a separate HTML5 Ad checker.

All I get is the 'Could not upload file' error message.

Zip is within file size limit. A sample HTML5 ad DOES work for some reason, despite it being the wrong dimensions.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Jon

Hi Jon,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.

If you've created an HTML5 ad using a different tool, such as Google Web Designer, you can upload it to Ads Creative Studio as a display project. Before you upload your HTML5 files, you'll need to compress all of the files into a single ZIP file. Make sure to include any assets, CSS, or JavaScript files that are loaded by the HTML file.  Download an example ZIP file as a reference and checkout the next steps to be taken. Kindly refer to the Upload an HTML5 display ad help center article for more information.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Hi Jon,

Thank you for providing the required information.

When uploading creatives in Google Ads, you may receive an error message. In most situations, the problem can be fixed by altering your file and re-saving. You can then try to upload your file again. I see that you're making use of size 468x60 which is not supported. Check the supported HTML5 ad formatting ad sizes. Also, from the example zip file I observed that there is an extra folder named “images” in the provided zip file so  try to make an exact replica of the example zip file and change the ad size to supported ad sizes and check if it is working as expected.

If the above didn’t work, being that this is more of an creative issue in the AdMob dashboard rather than the Mobile Ads SDK technical implementation, to help resolve the issue you've been experiencing with your creative, I'm adding another support team Product Support Team with expertise in AdMob dashboard and creative troubleshooting. You'll receive an email shortly with all the teams involved.

Thanks,

Hello, I am new to this application. Can you teach me how it works?
