Video ads not showing on all devices

Hi,

Im new on admob, and I have just download the sample code from google site. 

https://github.com/googleads/googleads-mobile-ios-examples/tree/master/Objective-C/admob/RewardedVideoExample

I have changed the my unit id in sample and run it. However, The ads show on my 6S device while I got error message "Reward based video ad failed to load." on my 6 device. 

Is there anyone have the same problem. How do I solve this?

Hi,

It sounds like you were using a newly generated Ad Unit ID to load live ads. Do note that any new Ad Unit IDs take a few hours to start loading ads and I would suggest that you wait for a while and try again and then let us know.

Hi,

But it works on my 6S so I do not think that my Unit IDs do not loading ads. And here is my Unit ID

ca-app-pub-8215615444711288/5972711459

I also have just tried the test ID below which I found in this forum

ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/1712485313

And it give me the same result.

Hi Duy,

Thank you for the device logs. They indicate a network issue and perhaps a timeout on SSL. Now, can you confirm whether you are handling ATS ? Can you also try on a different network and see if this is still happening? Are you trying to proxy the session from your device when the ad request is made? Send us Charles logs and complete device logs to look into this. Also, what error is being thrown ? Print out the NSError* via error. localizedDescription and then check what the issue might be.

Hi Deepika,

Thanks for your suggestion, I tried it on different network and get over the network error now. However, now I got "Reward based video ad failed to load. Error Domain=com.google.ads Code=9 "No ad returned from any ad server" on real device (iphone 6). It still work fine with simulator and iphone 6s. I haved tried google sample code but have the same results.

Could you please let me know what I could try to figure out the problem.

Hi Duy,

Can you provide us your device logs along with Charles session logs? It might be a device specific issue and those two logs would help me to debug this further. Were you never able to load ads on your iPhone 6 or this is intermittent?
