Greetings,
I want to share an interesting experience I had with the AdMob team. I have been using AdMob for over a year, and during the first year, I never encountered any ad limitations. It's worth noting that, back then, the domain for the AdMob dashboard was "apps.admob.com."
This year, however, I faced two ad limitations, and this time the AdMob domain had changed to "admob.google.com." Quite interesting!
The first time I received a "Limited Ads Serving" notification was due to "Invalid Traffic," yet interestingly, no amount was deducted from my AdSense account for invalid traffic. This suggests that my apps don’t actually have any invalid traffic.
The second limitation came just 20 days after the first one was lifted. Once again, the reason cited was "Invalid Traffic Concern."
Let me explain what I believe caused the initial traffic surge: I think the Google Play Console team may have suspended some of my competitors' accounts because they weren't following the rules. With their apps disappearing, the traffic shifted to my apps.
Now, regarding the second limitation: My app is an educational tool designed to enhance study experiences. At the moment, there's a festive season going on, and during holidays, students—who are the primary users of my app—don't use it as much. But when the school term resumes, they start using the app again. This leads to fluctuations in traffic, with low usage during holidays and sudden spikes when studies begin.
And yet, interestingly... Oops, "You got an Ad Limit from AdMob!"
Based on my own observations and advice from experienced developers, it seems:
So, for now, I will likely have to accept the fact that my earnings from AdMob will be affected for the next month. Let’s see if the next scenario requires me to compromise for six months.
A request to the AdMob team: Please review my account and provide a solution to my problem. It’s important to note that my apps are educational and are only actively used when students are in session. As a result, traffic fluctuates based on their academic calendar.
Thank you!

Hi Ys,
Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.
Google may sometimes place a limit on the number of ads your AdMob account can show. This might be a temporary ad serving limit to evaluate your traffic quality, or it might be because of identified invalid traffic concerns in your AdMob account. For more information, please refer to Ad serving limits and Guide for Ad Serving Limits. It is very important to follow AdMob Policies, as well as Implementation Guidelines to avoid any issues. Please note that the SDK just requests an ad from the ad server but does not have any control on the ad it receives.
In order to verify your account and facilitate further investigation, kindly share your app ID via reply to author option.
