I added a test banner with a test id to the apps

Hi Kate,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I was able to test the test banner ad in question, and can confirm that I was getting the expected ad from it (see attached screenshot). With this in mind, could you kindly provide the details below (via Reply privately to author) so that I can further investigate the issue?

  • Copy of your sample project (replicating the issue)
  • Steps to replicate the issue

Regards,

Ziv Yves Sanchez

Hi Kate,

Thank you for providing the requested details in private.

Your AdMob account should have a Policy Center detailing which apps might be in violation with some of AdMob's policies (and thus would have their ad serving capabilities blocked). This would, however, only happen if you were using your own app and ad unit IDs for your apps in the first place (and not the test IDs). With that said, you may post this ad-serving concern over at the AdMob Help Center for further assistance, as the product specialists there would be able to provide better insights on this.

Hi Kate,

Thank you for providing additional details on your concern.

It seems that the example app you're using is outdated. Could you try the one on this page instead, and see if this will work for you? You may also try testing via enabling test devices instead as well.
