Admob mediation with FAN not getting ads

Hello, 

I have integrated FAN in my app. I checked manually with facebook ads. It is showing perfectly. 

But when i am integrating FAN in mediation. I did all step according to Guidelines.

but match rate is 0 for FAN.

FAN mediation report is showing ads request but match request is 0.

Facebook developers dashboard is also not showing ads request.

please suggest me.

I'm having the same problem!

I added FAN through AdMob mediation following these instructions but doesnt work. Just like you I get requests but 0 match rate....

On facebook side I see 0 .....

 Please share your Ad unit Id, complete device logs  and a sample project for us to take a look. Are you seeing any error code in the logs?  You can use "Reply Privately to Author" to share the details privately.

Hi!

I've found the issue!

Seems the mediation "thingy" doesn't support "SMART_BANNER" .... had to change to "BANNER" and it works.

Then got some other bug and had to update to 5.4.+ of the facebook and mediation SDKs.

Hi,

I can confirm that there is an issue with FAN and "SMART_BANNER" since FAN SDK version 5.2.+. The current version is com.google.ads.mediation:facebook:5.4.0.0.

For some reason, I believe, the adapter is no longer matching the Admob banner sizes to the closest FAN banner sizes. And it's been like this for a while now.

I believe SMART_BANNERs would have a higher eCPM, so we really need the adapter to support those banners again please,

Thanks for the insights! Didnt know it had been this way for that long!

I completely agree that this should be fixed!

I will have to start using "BANNER" for my admob ads so that its able to request some ads from FAN but I also believe that "SMAR_BANNER" has higher eCPM and that's why I was using it.... (no proof though)
