Hi,

Recently someone from adsense help group told me I can add Admob ads
in Chrome Web Store packaged apps.

But in admob, when I use the link Add Site/Apps, I could only select
Android, iPad, iPhone, Smartphone and Windows Phone 7.

How can I add Chrome apps to my admob account?

Please help me.

Right now unfortunately we only support native versions of the AdMob SDK for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7.

You may want to check out AdSense for Mobile Content according to this.

Is this working now? Ive made my apks with ARC-Welder to a chrome app. Are ads with google play service working in those chrome apps? Or do i have to go a different way to add ads to it ?

Hi,

There is a similar discussion on the forum which could be found here
The implementation of ARC Welder and Android apps on Chrome OS cause requests to the ads SDK to register as coming from an emulator. There is currently no workaround for this. However, we do hope to push a change to an upcoming release of our SDK that will allow for live ads on these platforms.

You can also find the Release Notes to see the updates for our SDK.

Thanks

Hello,

Can someone please comment on if there are any plans for general support of Chrome Apps, either via Javascript or C++?  Or is the ARC Welder scenario the only path with planned support?  We would like to use Admob from Native Client, and I would imagine it would be possible to share the majority of the SDK code between ARC and a standalone native library.

Thanks!

Hi there,

It appears nothing has changed regarding requests coming from the ARC Welder being treated as emulator-originated requests.  Developers will continue to receive test ads.  Currently we do not have any timeline for the support.

Thanks,
