Hello,

I have an app (not released yet) that was serving ads some month ago.
Now I want to publish it but ads are not showing anymore.
I have an error : "Error: [googleMobileAds/no-fill] Account not approved yet. <https://support.google.com/admob/answer/9905175#1>"

My account is approved. One thing I could'nt do is adding app-ads.txt because admob doesn't seem to crawl it for whatever reason.

Can you please help me ? Thanks.

Hello Yoan,

Thank you for your response. I'm a colleague of Teejay and will be assisting you on this.

Upon trying your ad unit id in our sample app, I was able to encounter ad failed to load 3, which means that the ad request was successful, but no ad was returned due to lack of ad inventory. Kindly note that the SDK just requests an ad to the ad server (E.g: AdMob), and I'm afraid that it doesn't have any control on fill rate / match rate / impression of your app. This is more of an ad serving issue which is out of scope to our team. You may also refer to common reason for ads not showing for additional scenarios, as well as the fixes for those.

I've also see that you have a payment on hold in the account, can you verify if you also see this in your account? If yes, you need to fully complete the setup of your AdMob account, particularly the billing and PIN verification sections. With that, we recommend reaching out to the Product Support Team as they are better equipped to handle this.

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

You said it's just a fillrate issue but error on my side is "account no approved".
You try my app id on your sample app, so I guess, your ad request should be shown on my dashboard, right ?
It's not the case, I still have 0 ad requests the past 2 days :

About payments, here is my dashboard (sorry, in french) :

I only have 9.86€, no pending payments, no errors.
I did not configure my PIN. I don't think it's an option yet since I don't proceed to any payment yet.

Not sure if it's related, but I have another issue with app-ads.txt that doesn't get fetched by admob.
I added my website url on my play store account (on developer website, app page website....). Admob never crawls it. It's there : https://cc-api.pilotsystems.net/app-ads.txt

Hi Yoan,

Teejay here. Allow me to assist you in this.

With regard to the test done with my colleague, please do note that our internal test with the live ad units will not reflect to publisher's dashboard. This is the reason that you're not seeing any ad request on your end. In addition, the SDK just request for the ad on the ad-server and it does not have any control on what ad or error message (in your case, Account not approved yet) it will receive. What we do recommend at this point is to reach out to product team as they are more equipped checking your account. This is the same with issues with setting up the ads-app.txt.

Thanks, it's fixed. I didn't know you had to configure and validate your identity on adsense too.
