PublisherAdView height wrap_content not working

Hi,

I have 320x50 and 320x100 ad sizes for same PublisherAdView.

Sometimes It is not displaying all content of ads.

I have setup height of adView to wrap_content but all content not displaying.

In brief, PublisherAdView's height wrap_content not working properly.

I have attached screen shoots, correct and wrong for same PublisherAdView.

Hi there,

Are you sure the problem is with wrap_content? Does the PublisherAdView consistently display correctly/incorrectly for one of the ad sizes?

Hi Amy,

Actually I have tried same Ad Unit on iOS for same ad sizes but its result is same.

It is not displaying correctly on iOS too.

If I request only for one ad size it works correctly.

I have researched on this group an I have found people suffers from this issue.

I realized that SDK's "adView:willChangeAdSizeTo:" method returns wrong ad sizes.

Some time this method returns 300x250 ad size but it loads and shows 320x50 ad size.

And another reason may be DFP configuration for this ad unit.

I am using v6.12.2 SDK (last version).

It looks like it might be a problem with the DFP configuration. Is this the email address associated with your DFP account?

Hi fmt,

This bug when using multiple ad size requests and mediation through DFP is still open. We should hopefully have a fix by the next release.

In the meantime, the workaround is to either revert to an SDK before 6.11.1, or to not use multiple ad sized requests and create a new GADBannerView if you need to show a different sized request.
