As the title says.
I've noticed that when using it, it fails to work.

Hi Liran,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I tried out the sample project you've provided (using a Pixel 3 XL API level 30 simulator), and was able to receive ads from it (see attached video). Could you kindly confirm if the issue still occurs when using one of your real ad unit IDs? You may enable your device as a test device in order to help with this.

If the issue still occurs despite the above, could you then kindly provide the details below (via Reply privately to author) so that I can further investigate the issue?

Regards,

Ziv Yves Sanchez

You didn't run it on Android API 30. You did it on API 28, so the targetSdk is useless for your case.
Try on Android API 30 like I did.

BTW, something is wrong with this website's email notification mechanism.
I couldn't see any link to here. I had to find it myself, manually.
Please also avoid writing my name and email here. I have enough spammers already.

Hi Liran,

Apologies for the misstep, it seems that my choice of simulator version went back to API level 28 instead of 30 during my previous recording.

I tried out the example code you've provided on a Pixel 3 XL API level 30 simulator, and was able to consistently replicate the issue. With this in mind, I'll be taking this up to the rest of the team in order to further investigate. Rest assured that we'll keep you updated on this.

Can you let me know why this occurs? Maybe it's a new restriction that I should know about, that could be important.
Please also check other types of ads. I think it affects interstitial too.

Also, can you please fix the emails from the website?

Hi there,

We are still currently investigating this issue. We'll keep you posted for any updates on this. As an aside, I'm afraid that any concerns related to the AdMob SDK Help Forum itself is out-of-scope for our assistance. You may also want to keep in mind that your name and email are immediately visible in the forum whenever you post; this, again I'm afraid, is out of our control.

Can you please pass it forward? Or let me know who I should talk about this?
It's really unfortunate that a website of Google encourages spam bots to scan it...

Can you please at least edit your own posts to remove my name, like here, and on this link

Hi there,

I work with Ziv and will try to assist you. You don't want your email address to be seen on our forum or in any scannable forum, so you are requesting a way to post without making your email visible in the reply while still getting a response in your email, or for us to edit our post so that your email address doesn't come up as a CC. Your proposal to give a poster an ability to choose wether to expose email is applicable to all Google Forums. Although this out of scope for this forum, let me bring this issue, your proposed solutions and your request to delete your email up with the rest of my team. We will get back to you as soon as we have more information.

Kind regards,
Aryeh Baker

I don't understand why you make it complicated.
Just do what you have on the issue tracker. All emails are being truncated, and nobody needs to write the email of anyone.
The thread has a number for each post, so if someone wishes to reply to someone, he writes "@3" for example to the third comment there...

Why do you insist on showing here the email address to anyone, in public?
There is practically no other forum that I know of that does that. Ever.
All use nicknames instead.
Why should it be different here?
