Reward Ads return "no ad from server"

Hi every one.

I'm trying to integrate admob to my game (using Unity engine). Banner and Interstitial work fine. But with reward ads, i always got "no ads from server". Please note that i dont use any ad mediation (i use mediation before but now i remove it). In my app, i use only three ads, facebook, admob, unity, and dont use mediation. If one fails, will use another.

Please help!

Hi Everyone, I am also facing the issue when implementing the Reward Video iOS SDK for my app. I am getting the test banner ads as well as test interstitial ads but I am not getting test Reward Video ads.
Every time, the didFailToLoadWithError method is called, and when I logged out the error, it prints out the log :-

Reward based video ad failed to load. Error Domain=com.google.ads Code=9 "No ad returned from any ad server." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=No ad returned from any ad server., NSLocalizedFailureReason=No ad returned from any ad server.}

Hi All,

Please be informed that I have deleted the post containing Ad Unit IDs since they can be considered as sensitive information. Moving forward, please refrain from posting any kind of confidential information publicly. 

That said, I tried out the Ad Unit IDs on our sample project and I was able to retrieve Rewarded Video Ads on my end. For us to further investigate as to why Rewarded Video Ads are not showing on your end, can you provide to us the following information using the Reply privately to author option?
  • For iOS, make sure that the Limit Ad Tracking option under Settings > Privacy > Advertising is turned OFF
  • If possible, logs from Charles' Proxy. Refer to here for instructions on how to set it up
Additionally, can you check if you are able to replicate the issue on our sample project (linked above) as well?

am using test ad unit id "ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/5224354917" to show for reward video.

Hi Mohammad,

It looks like you are using our Test Rewarded Ad Unit ID for Android in your iOS Application. Kindly note that Rewarded Video Ad Unit IDs are platform specific, so Rewarded Video Ad Unit IDs for Android will not work on iOS, and vice-versa.

That said, make sure you are using Ad Unit IDs for iOS on your iOS applications and Android Ad Unit IDs on your Android applications. You may use these test Ad Unit IDs on your iOS applications.

Would you be able to provide to us the following information (using the Reply Privately to Author option) for us to further investigate the issue?

Can you please share the details about the issue you are seeing with the SDK? We will be happy to assist you if you could share the Ad unit Id and the complete device logs. You can use "Reply Privately to Author" option to share the details privately.

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing the Ad unit Id. I'm able to reproduce the issue with your Ad unit Id. But this happens if it is a newly created Id or if there is an issue with your account. Can you make sure to update the Billing and Payments details on your account? Once you update these details, please note that it might take few hours for the changes to reflect on your account. I'd suggest that you wait for few hours and try loading the ads again.
