it says Custom events let you add waterfall mediation for an ad network that isn't a supported ad network. You do this by implementing a custom event adapter for the ad network you want to integrate.

We are an ad network and we developed our custom adapter based on 
https://developers.google.com/admob/android/mediation-developer?hl=en

My question is, 

If our publisher implement "admob" custom event adapter from us, Can it work on Google Ad Manager as well?

With regard to your concern for custom events, if you're using AdMob, I would suggest to use this Admob guide(https://developers.google.com/admob/android/custom-events/setup) for proper implementation of it using your AdMob account. Then if you're using AdManager, you can use this AdManager guide(https://developers.google.com/ad-manager/mobile-ads-sdk/android/custom-events/setup) for custom events. For you question, even AdMob and AdManager guides are too identical, we are still not suggesting to use different implementation guide since there might be some differences for each ad format implementation. Also, kindly note that the two SDK are using different ad unit ids format.
