Hello,

I am trying to implement admob to my app I made with unity. But when I compile it it gives this error:

ld: warning: directory not found for option '-L/Users/hakanahmetgul/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Unity-iPhone-efmmultvybteoaeeeqpfwywykecx/Build/Products/ReleaseForRunning-iphoneos/GoogleUtilities'

ld: warning: directory not found for option '-L/Users/hakanahmetgul/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Unity-iPhone-efmmultvybteoaeeeqpfwywykecx/Build/Products/ReleaseForRunning-iphoneos/nanopb'

ld: library not found for -lGoogleUtilities

clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Please help me

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You may be opening your project via its .xcodeproj file, instead of its .xcworkspace file. Could you confirm if the same issue is occurring if you opened the .xcworkspace file of your project instead?

If the issue still occurs despite the above, could you then kindly provide the details below (via Reply privately to author) so that I can further investigate the issue?

  • Copy of your XCode project (replicating the issue)
  • Steps to replicate the issue

Regards,

Ziv Yves Sanchez

So I can build the project successfully with .xcworkspace file but I can't see the app on my iphone nor I can click the run button on xcode. How can I test it?

Hi there,

Thank you for providing an update on your concern.

In the main toolbar of your XCode, kindly go to Product -> Scheme -> Manage Schemes, and confirm if your Unity project is in there. You can click on Autocreate Schemes Now as well if your project is absent. Afterwards, select the proper Scheme in the main XCode window in order to get started with building and running that Scheme (see attached screenshot).

Alternatively, you can check out this StackOverflow thread on how to edit Schemes, in order to properly target your project for execution.

If the issue still occurs despite the above, you may then provide the details below (via Reply privately to author) so that I can further investigate the issue:
