Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to follow up on the discussion about changing defaults in 'manage options' and the ad display issue in the app with no fill rate for the last 1.5 months.

For the 'manage options' issue, I agree with Alex that 'limited ads' seems like a potential solution, but it appears that not many have been served a limited ad. Setting up mediation might be a workaround, although this can be challenging for Flutter developers.

Regarding the 'level of consent' problem, it's surprising that Google UMP doesn't provide this information directly. However, setting up a custom parser to work with the iabtcf_consent_info package seems to be a viable solution.

For the ad display issue with no fill rate, it's crucial to ensure that you are using the latest version of the AdMob SDK and have integrated the most recent version. Reviewing the help center articles on common reasons for low match rate might also provide some insights.

If possible, could you please share your app ID and ad unit ID privately? This will help us conduct a thorough review of your account and provide you with more specific guidance.

Best regards,

George Dela PenaHi,

Thank you for the information. It seems like 'limited ads' might not be a practical solution based on experiences shared here. I appreciate the tip on setting up mediation for potential solutions.

Regarding the 'level of consent' problem, it's great that you found a workaround. Your insights and the link to the discussion on Stack Overflow are valuable resources.

Best regards,
George

Hi Menyus,

Thanks for the info. I've been in and out of this forum for quite a while
and unfortunately, though 'limited ads' sounds like a solution, i have yet
to hear from anybody that has ever been served a limited ad. I think it's a
red herring to shut down complaints unless something has changed in the
last few months. Perhaps you can get something from it through setting up
mediation, but this is impossible for me as a Flutter developer.

I did manage to find a solution to the 'level of consent' problem though.
(It's astonishing that the google UMP doesn't just provide this
information) but you can setup a custom parser to work in conjunction with *iabtcf_consent_info
package*

There is a useful discussion on it here incase it helps

Good luck fellow developer! We're on the extinction list!
