crash after update sdk to 19.5.0

Hello , after upgrade sdk com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads:19.5.0' i see many crash in firebase crashlytics  :

• Device names and Android versions of devices affected
• Frequency of crashes
• Copy of a modified sample project (replicating the issue)
• Steps to replicate the issue

Hello

thank you for the coordination. Noting that stackoverflow is full of people complaining about this error, and that its increasing the crash rate of the application (in my case to about 1+% of sessions) which is considered bad behavior as per google play policy and affecting the app install rate.

Thank you for responding back and inquiring more about this issue. I work along with Aryeh and will be helping you today. I have been able to look over the thread and all the associated information. From what I can tell, there looked like there was a patch pushed out about a few days ago. We have some updates coming out within the next few days. And suggest to check out over the next few days.

This is a good news indeed.

Is any sdk update required? Or it is a server side fix? If it is server side is it fully rolled out?

Hi Elio,

No upgrade is necessary. What I can say is there may still be some crashes and hopefully all will subside in the near future.
