App open ads does not show ads in my test device

Hi,

I added open app ads to my application that is live on google play. But it doesn't show ads on my test device. But when I create and try a new app it shows ads on my test device. How can I solve this problem? My error message is below. Thank you. Error code:

I'm glad to know that the ads are now appearing. For your question, app-ads.txt helps you to protect your app ad inventory from ad fraud. If your app has a corresponding app-ads.txt file, the ads that you are requesting help you receive advertiser spend that might have otherwise gone toward counterfeit inventory of spoofed apps. Use of app-ads.txt is not mandatory, but is highly recommended, especially if you are concerned that others may be spoofing your app.

Hi Pamela,
Yesterday, when I added google.com, pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0 to the App-ads.txt file, I checked today and the test ad started to appear. What I don't understand is why do we need to update app-ads.txt file for app open ads while other ads are showing with test id without does not add app-ads.txt?

Hi Pamela,

Thank you.  It's not private information you deleted. Admob's test user ID. Test ads of other ad types were working fine in my app. The app open ads ad started working after I added the test user ID to the app-ads.txt file.
