Hello fellow publishers & Eric,
Lets consider this situation. A publisher upgraded to new Admob & updated his apps with newly given ad_unit_id [came up with up-gradation process ] and also using 6.2.X jar. Now its a common scenario that users don't update at all.
This scenario is available among many developers. Now what will be result of this Aug 1 deadline? Kindly reply which of the following understanding of mine is correct.
1. if any app does not use GPS , they will not be served with ads but user will keep using the app normally.
2. if any app does not use GPS but uses new admob ad_unit_id , then its okay, everything will work normally.
3. if any app does not use GPS and dont use the new admob ad_unit_id rather use old adUnitID [just because user never bothered to update the app], there will be no ad serving and earning will be zero from those thousands of installed copies.
