Hello,

I have integrated AdMob into my iOS app to display banner ads. During development, I’ve been using the official AdMob test ad unit ID (ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/2934735716) to show test banners.

However, recently, test ads have stopped appearing in my app. To investigate the issue, I conducted the following tests:

  • In Google’s official test app, the test ad unit ID displays test ads correctly.

  • When I set my app’s Bundle Identifier and GADApplicationIdentifier in the test app, ads no longer appear.

  • If I change only the Bundle Identifier in the test app, test ads display as expected.

These results indicate that test ads fail to display only when using my app’s Bundle Identifier.

It's important to note that when I use the real ad unit ID, ads do appear normally. This suggests that the issue is limited to test ads during development.

Currently, I’m experiencing inconvenience as I cannot see test ads while developing the app. I’d like to understand why test ads are not showing with my app’s Bundle Identifier and how to resolve this issue.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.

We appreciate the clear explanation of your issue. Since you're only encountering this problem when using your app's Bundle Identifier in the test application, could you please provide that Bundle Identifier via the reply to author option? This will help us investigate further.

Thanks,

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to us.

It has been observed that advertisements fail to load when utilizing the Bundle Identifier `com.lawtin.BowlingScore`. However the Ads are loading successfully upon alteration of the Bundle Identifier. Therefore, it appears that the root of the issue lies within your Bundle Identifier.

The best way to get more information about your issue is the AdMob Help Center. You can also utilize the AdMob Communities for additional support.

Thanks,
