Error on upgrade attempt (7.57.0 -> 7.58.0+) - mobile-ads-sdk

Hoping someone can help me to update Mobile Ads SDK, I'm stuck on 

7.57.0 to 7.58.0 returns

Error Domain=com.google.admob Code=11 "Request Error: Internal error." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Request Error: Internal error., gad_response_info=<GADResponseInfo: 0x60000347efa0>}

7.57.0 to 7.64.0 returns

Error Domain=com.google.admob Code=2 "SDK tried to perform a networking task before being initialized." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=SDK tried to perform a networking task before being initialized., gad_response_info=  ** Response Info **

    Response ID: (null)

    Network: (null)

  ** Mediation line items **

I have the GADMobileAds.sharedInstance().start(completionHandler: nil) in AppDelegate

Thank you for reaching out to us. Let me do the best I can to assist you in this.

We always recommends our publishers to use the latest version of the SDK. Would it be possible for you to update the SDK to v7.65.0? In addition, I could see that you were getting an error related to mediation. Could you confirm if you were using any mediation networks? If so, could you please provide us the list of mediation network you've added? Have you follow our implementation guide base on the mediation network?

Hi Teejay,

Apologies on the delay to get back, we've updated the SDK to v7.65.0.

I'm using the test adUnit so it shouldn't be related to medication networks.

If I have a blank test app, ads are working so this related to the our project however error doesn't lead us anywhere, that's why I was hoping for help.

Thank you for passing along the additional information. I work along with Teejay and will be assisting you on this issue.

Based on the previous discussion and error that you are getting back, would indicate to us that their is something in the code that is using the mediation. This appears to be what is causing the issue. If you can send us over a sample app of your implementation. So that we can look over this to see what could be causing this.

Thank you, unfortunately the issue is in our main app and does not occur in the sample app therefore I cannot send it.

Is there a documentation on usage of the Mediation somewhere at https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/quick-start 

Considering we use the following line to initialise SDK

GADMobileAds.sharedInstance().start(completionHandler: nil)

and using test AdUnit

bannerView.adUnitID = "ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/2934735716"

it shouldn't be using Mediation
