Interstitial Ads using AdMob are shown but are not clickable

When i display interstitial ads using admob inside an Activity it shows fine and on click it opens a page in browser.

But if i display interstitial ads using admob inside an InputMethodService it shows fine but its not clickable, on click of the same ad nothing happens.

Have any one used Admob Ads with InputMethodService, like display and clicking an Interstitial Ad on press of a key on the soft keyboard?

Our SDK was not designed to launch ads from InputMethodServices, and I'm not sure that it's even possible to correctly do so.  In addition, I would recommend checking the AdMob support site (https://support.google.com/admob/) to make sure that this doesn't violate AdMob policy for ad placement.
