Hello,
I'm implementing the Google UMP in my Android app since Google is forcing us to implement a certified CMP.
I have before my custom form but it won't be possible anymore.
I join other users that this mandatory change is very damaging for us developers, Google itself, and ever our users since they won't be able to receive non-personalized ads.

Actual problem:
If the user selects "Manage options", and even if he enables all consents present, he still sees no ad.
To see ads, he has also to click on "Vendor preferences" and specifically enable the "Google Advertising Products" consent.
It seems that the "Legitimate interest" already preselected doesn't work since I always receive a "no fill" for all requested ads.
Is this the correct behavior? Is the Google "Legitimate interest" in the Vendor preferences not working?

Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for your support.
I deleted my message in the other thread. Maybe it is better to continue in this one for other users. (Or if you can restore my deleted message in the other one)

Thank you

Hi Alex,

What you are experience is the intended behavior.

To my knowledge, the reason you aren't seeing any ads is in addition to providing purposes consent (the first screen that you see when clicking "Manage Options") you also need to provide vendor consent (scroll to bottom of purposes page -> click "Vendor preferences"). Both purposes consent and vendor consent are required for any vendor (for example, Google) to work properly/show ads.

So if you consent to Google on the vendors page, that should solve the issue. Let me know if this doesn't work and please include a video screen recording.

Thanks,
Justin

Hello,
I suggest making the "Vendor preferences" looks like a button.

In any case, every user who clicks on "Manage consent" is as if they clicked on "Deny all" since it is unthinkable that a user makes this double selection.

You can close the ticket and thank you for your support.
