AdMob: Multiple Interstitial Ad Units vs Single – Which is More Profitable?

I'm developing an Android app and using AdMob for monetization. I want to maximize my revenue from interstitial ads. Is it better to use a single interstitial ad unit across the entire app, or should I create multiple interstitial ad units for different events/screens?

Would having multiple ad units increase revenue, or would it split the ad inventory and reduce CPM? What is the best practice for optimizing interstitial ad performance?

Any insights or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, While increasing the frequency of interstitial ads in your app might seem like a great way to increase revenue, it can also degrade the user experience and lower clickthrough rates. Make sure that users aren't so frequently interrupted that they're no longer able to enjoy the use of your app.

I guess you didn't understand the question I asked. Should I use a single interstitial ad ID and the same id throughout the application, or should I use interstitial ads with different id IDs for the activities for which I will use interstitial ads? Which one has the higher cost per thousand impressions?

Kindly note that the SDK just requests an ad to the ad-server (AdMob, Ad Manager, AdX or through a Third-party ad network) and does not have any control over the eCPM, match rate/fill rate/show rate/display rate or impressions of your app. I would recommend that you reach out to the Product support team as they are better equipped to address your concern.
