Test Ads in iOS TestFlight not showing

We are using the AdMob test adUnit: ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/2435281174 during development and have the following problem:

• Simulator: Test Ads OK

• Physical Hardware: Test Ads OK

• TestFlight: No Ads load. Not a blank ad, just an empty space where the ad would be.

Questions:

• Is this normal for that test adUnit to not display in TestFlight?

• When we submit to production, is it as simple as changing "banner.adUnitID" from the test adUnit to our apps?

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.

You can display test ad with production ids too in TestFlight by registering your device as a test device in AdMob UI. I would suggest to change all the test ids when ever uploading build to the test flight or production.
