How do you add AdMob Ads to apps built with HTML5/JS/CSS and packaged in PhoneGap Build?

I've built an app in PhoneGap Build and it's almost ready for beta release. 

It's a free app but I'd like to add a banner ad to the bottom. 

I've only used the Android SDK to generate the KeyStore with the KeyStore plugin in Eclipse. The app was not built in Eclipse. 

How do I add the AdMob code to the app? 

It's not permissible to ad AdSense code to it, though as the app was actually built with jQuery Mobile, HTML5/CSS that would be easy. 

Any ideas?

Since the code is compiled and run as an application, you're correct that AdMob should be used instead of AdSense.

You could consider using a plugin like this one to help you serve AdMob ads in your PhoneGap app.
