MY APP CRASHES WHEN I ADD ADS(ADMOB)

Hello,i have developed an android application and i decided to place ads on it to get extra money, but when i add the ads on my application the app crashes on debug ,it displ;ays the message that the app has stopped,what might be the problem.Please email me fedinar...@gmail.com

I am using android studio 3.4.0 gradle 5.1.1 admob depedency 17.2.0

What is the best method to place ads to avoid apps from crashing?

Thank you for providing me with your project file. I have checked your project file, however it seems that you haven't implemented the AdMob SDK.

In your previous discussion with Deepika, you have stated that you encountered an issue when implementing the SDK. Deepika provided you with the Guides and Sample apps to help you through with the implementation.

That said, could you implement the AdMob SDK to your project file. If you encounter an implementation issue, you may share with me the project file privately (using Reply privately to author option). I'll be happy to assist you.

Hi there,

Thank you for providing me with your project file. As per checking, I noticed that on your project's manifest, you have incorrectly initialized the Google Mobile Ads SDK's meta-data. The android:name shouldn't be changed and must have a value of "com.google.android.gms.ads.APPLICATION_ID" as per documentation. You only need to change "YOUR_ADMOB_APP_ID".

I have updated my downloaded copy and I no longer encounter the crash. Could you update your project's manifest on your end?
