Admob Mediation with Audience network regards GDPR

 I have used consent sdk and I got consent form with options clearly.

I want to clarify my doubt that , if I set "npa" "1" on adrequest can it applicable for all networks I added in Admob like Audience Network,  Chartboost,....

If not please guide me to integrate for those also.

Hi,

If you are using mediation to third party ad networks, you will need to review the EU consent recommendations for each network that you are using, where applicable.

For example, here is the one for Chartboost. For Facebook, I recommend reviewing this page.

Thanks for your response.I can't find the code to send request to Facebook Audiance Network(FAN) for Show only Non Personalised ads. I am using FAN Adapter for Mediation integration.How can I request FAN to Show user prefered Ads ?

Hi,

There is no code from our side that will pass through a non-personalized ad request to FAN.

As per the FAN article I linked:

As is the case today, our terms require that apps provide a clear and prominent link that is easily accessible inside your app settings or any privacy policy and from within any store or website where your app is distributed that links to a clear explanation (a) that third parties, including Facebook, may collect or receive information from your app and other apps and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads and (b) how and where users can opt out of the collection and use of information for ad targeting.

They also have a consent guide. 

I cannot provide any further guidance on this other than the Facebook documentation above.

   I have another query about consent. In Consent SDK  I have used method  isRequestLocationInEeaOrUnknown() to find the user in EU or not. Shall I know how it getting the country, because I want to use this method for manual alert display. Is this method efficient to find users in EU region?

Hi,

As long as you update the consent status before using this method, then yes it is designed to enable you to determine if the user is in the EU or not.
