AppLovin Mediation - Ads not showing in dev/stflight/opentesting

Hello,

I am trying to setup mediation with AppLovin.

I have added it as a Bidding Source and also created mediation groups both for iOS and Android and connected them to their respective ad units.

Modified my project level gradle, the app level one and the pod 'GoogleMobileAdsMediationAppLovin'

I also checked using the Ad Inspector from admob and the AppLovin adapter is found and initialized.

The problem is when i run it (locally / testflight (ios / open testing (android)) i get the 'no-fill' error.

Will it work in production? Can someone help me a bit?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The no fill error you are encountering is the expected behavior when in a testing environment. Once it's in production, it should work normally and serve ads.

Hello Zoilo, thank you for your reply!

I have released the new version of the app into production after submitting this question. Also prepared it so that in case the rewarded ads are not working, the users will still get the reward without watching a video.

The new version on Google Play has been released this morning and something weird happened when I tested it: 

1. When I tested it (my device is in test mode both on AppLovin and Admob) I got a test ad from AppLovin and then I stopped receiving any other ads
2. When a friend tested it (without being in test mode) he received a production ad from AdMob Network and then he stopped receiving other ads

I need to mention that my Admob account has been limited for invalid traffic concerns but this shouldn't affect my mediation settings from what I read about it.

Thank you for providing additional information on this.

Since you've mentioned that you're encountering "limited for invalid traffic", then this might be the reason on why you are getting limited ads. However, for us to further check this, can you provide us the following details below? You can provide the following details via reply privately to author option.

• App ID
• Ad unit ID/s affected
• Play store / App store link
