Admob 7.5.1 cannot load banner ads

I am using Admob 7.5.1 and have set NSAllowsArbitraryLoads to YES and turned off bitcode and still cannot see my banner ads on iOS9 devices. The banner ads show up on iOS8 devices but all I see on iOS9 devices is a grey background. When debugging I can see that I am getting called back that the banner ad loaded successfully. Is there a step I missed to make sure that the banner ads work in iOS9?

Hi Curtis,

Adding the ATS exception and turning off bitcode are sufficient to get your ads to serve on iOS 9.  You'd know whether the cause is ATS-related if the log displays the following warning message:

“App Transport Security has blocked a cleartext HTTP (http://) resource load since it is insecure. Temporary exceptions can be configured via your app’s Info.plist file.”

To make sure we know for certain the culprit of the issue, are you able to reproduce this issue in our sample app on iOS 9?  Would you mind sharing your minimal project (with the ad unit ID) in which the issue manifests so we can take a look?

I actually got it resolved. The ad team we were working with said they had verified that they had it working when it actually was not, so we had a false positive. We had them fix some stuff on their end and we got our app working. Thanks.
