We are writing to inquire about an issue we are experiencing while implementing rewarded ads in our game. We are encountering two separate problems, and as it was recommended to address each issue individually, we have already submitted a previous inquiry regarding the first one. This inquiry concerns the second issue.
Our app is currently in service, and we are attempting to add rewarded ads. However, from a certain point onwards (we suspect this started happening after our app-ads.txt was uploaded and approved), using the test unit ID results in a consistent "No fill" error when attempting to load an ad.
When we use our actual ad unit ID, the ads generally load correctly, although we do encounter occasional "No fill" errors. However, when using the test unit ID, we receive the "No fill" error 100% of the time.
The test unit ID we are using is: ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/5224354917. To ensure there were no typos, we compared the ID using Beyond Compare and also copied and pasted the ID from our source code to search for it on the guide page (https://developers.google.com/admob/unity/rewarded#android), confirming it is the correct ID.
Searching through the history, we found a few reports of "No fill" errors related to test IDs in the past. We are wondering if this is a similar issue and would appreciate it if you could investigate.
Thank you for your time and assistance. We look forward to your prompt response.
Hi Duhan,
Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.
I have run the google sample application with the mentioned ad unit and ads are loading successfully. Could you please confirm if you are still encountering this problem when using the Google Sample Application? if yes then share with us your sample project where the issue is reproducible. Additionally, please ensure that you are using the most recent version of the SDK.
