No fill error

Like some other users i am receiving a no fill error...

```
Ad failed to load: LoadAdError(code: 3, domain: com.google.android.gms.ads, message: No fill., responseInfo: ResponseInfo(responseId: null, mediationAdapterClassName: , adapterResponses: [], loadedAdapterResponseInfo: null), responseExtras: {})
```

I used to get ads a few weeks ago but ads were limited for a short while (i don't know why) and since then i get nothing.

The app and banner details are as follows: 
Ad unit ID: ca-app-pub-4631784291218345/8692534426
App ID: ca-app-pub-4631784291218345~1529523683

Are you please able to run these through your sample application to see if you receive actual ads? 

I will at least then know the problem is something to do with my code implementation rather than an issue with my admob account

Upon reviewing your concern, I understand that you are getting “ Error Code 3, No fill ” error in your application. I ran the Google sample application with your app ID and ad unit ID and we are able to replicate the issue. I would recommend you refer to Error Code 3 : ERROR_CODE_NO_FILL for more details about your issue.

By using your app ID and ad unit ID I found that the Adsense profile has a payment hold due to Pending Pin. Please refer to the Pending Pin document to resolve the issue. Please refer to PIN mail for additional information. 

Please reach out to us, if you need any further assistance.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. 

Do i understand correctly that the reason i am getting a no fill error is because of the payment hold or is the payment hold a separate unrelated issue?

If the payment hold is causing the no-fill error, then we have a circular problem. I wouldn't receive a pin until i reach the earnings threshold (£60), and i can't reach the earnings threshold because i can't display any ads due to the no fill error.

Thanks you. Meanwhile ill stop looking for errors in my code implementation as i understand the payment hold to be the cause of the issue.

Hi Jill, 

The case isn't closed. No-one has got back to me. This is an open issue until there has been a resolution Please don't close the issue. That's just a way to get an item of your books to meet some KPI without actually resolving the issue. This is a critical problem and i need to feed my family.

This forum can only help with technical issue of the Google Mobile Ads SDK. If implementation is not the issue, we would suggest you to reach out to the Product Support Team (https://support.google.com/admob/thread/new?hl=en) as they are better equipped to handle this.

If you suspect it is due to implementation, please kindly provide us your project or sample project to reproduce the issue and we'll take a look.

Hi Jill, 

I said that in response to what the google advisor said on the 20th...

It was my way of clarifying that this is indeed the CAUSE of my 'no fill' error, and not some completely separate comment around 'oh by the way, you wouldn't get paid anyway because of this payment hold'... This was not clear in their message. 

Perhaps the payment hold is a complete red herring??

I'm afraid i simply don't understand how you break down your departments, or which are liable for which sort of problem in this game of pass the hot potato. All i can say is that the link you've provided about to the 'product support team' directs me back to this exact same forum. 

I'm sorry for my candour.. It just seems like google are 'quiet quitting' on AdMob whilst people's livelihoods are on the line. My entire experience is of illogical blockers invisibly being put in place, being provided zero info on what the problem is from the SDK or AdMob portal and then as soon as you have an issue  you're funnelled to the same community forum, and then the ticket gets closed because you're in the wrong place... I simply don't understand how this 'service' comes from perhaps the largest technology company in the world. I just want to feed my daughter! 

If you don't want people using AdMob anymore just tell us and we can devote our energies trying to get an alternative service working.

Hi Alex,

I feel your frustration. What's the lead on the Pending Pin issue?

If you have payment block I'm afraid normal service cannot resume. It's not a technical issue but a policy. Please contact product support and let me know once they resolved that for you. I simply do not have access to help with account issues.
