An incomprehensible bug that’s cutting my revenue in half, HELP

Hello AdMob community,

I’ve been experiencing an incomprehensible bug for several months now. From time to time, my app suddenly starts receiving 10x more ad requests, but these seem to be fake requests, which causes my match rate to drop to around 3%.

What’s strange is that this happens to all users at the same time, and then after about a week, the issue disappears on its own without me changing anything. Then, a few weeks later, it comes back — again, without any changes on my end.

I’ve checked my app’s code dozens of times, and I’m convinced the issue isn’t coming from there. Everything was working fine for months, and then suddenly, this bug appeared for all users at once.

Please, if anyone has experienced something similar or has any ideas, I would really appreciate your help. This is seriously hurting my revenue, and I can’t find any explanation.
