I have a mobile game that I have released on android and ios that I wrote in Unity. I made some update for the android release (that had nothing to do with ads) and now I am trying to rebuild and release for ios.

I switched my project back over to ios, went to build and I am now getting the following error:

no such file or directory: 'Libraries/Plugins/iOS/GADUInterface.m'

I have shortened the name below for ease of reading. The file has to do with google ads, which were working fine last time I built for ios. The iOS folder it is referencing isn't out there. I see the iOS folder inside an Android folder in the Plugins folder. 

Just for the hell of it I tried to move the iOS folder up one level out of the android folder. Then the xcode build said it couldn't find any of the files in Android\iOS folder. I tried copying the iOS folder, but then I got a linker error for duplicate variables which I'm sure you guys have seen before.

Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

If you haven't done yet, can you try doing a re-import of the Google Mobile Ads Plugin in your project and see if it helps resolve the issue? Can you also try removing all Google Mobile Ads related files in your project before doing a re-import?

If possible, may we request a sample project where we can see the build issue so we may be able to investigate further? You may provide it to us using the Reply Privately to Author option.

I have tried to reimport, twice.  Google ads seem to be wrapped in with the google play files. 

I couldn't find a site that gave instructions on how to remove google ads from my app.  If you have a link with instructions it would be appreciated.

My next attempt was going to be to create a new project and start adding things in until it breaks and see what happens then.

Hi there,

You may try manually removing the plugin's files from your project and re-import the Unity plugin.

That said, kindly get back to us once you can still replicate the issue on a new project. Additionally, you may provide to us your sample Unity project (via the Reply Privately to Author option) for us to further investigate this issue.
