I am in a country which does not support the new admob. But it doesnt let me use the legacy ad mob website either. From the ios app if I use the ad unit id pub-xxx etc. It doesn't work.

Your ad unit id should look likt ca-app-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/yyyyyyyyyy.
