Open Bidding Interstitial ads not working but banner and native ads working

Hello Google Developer Team,

MY Admob case id is:  [7-8307000031272]

Recently I have connect with admob support team and tey have told me to forward this case to google developer team so I writing here. 

I have set up open bidding with multiple ads network. My banner and native ads open bidding are working well no any issue. But interstitial ads are not working. MY question is  here that banner and native ads are working so why interstitial ads not working.

Can you please escalate the issue to the Google SDK Developer team? I see from the screenshots that you sent to my colleague Konrad, that "Ad Load" has a warning associated with it. Can you also refer to them that your Bidding is currently not working on Third Party Networks? 

Why I ask you to do this, is that this team can check your implementation for you (privately) as they are trained engineers and can ensure that SDK installation is correct. At the moment, I cannot see anything that would prevent the third party networks from bidding, if your setup is the same as your Banner and Native ads.

Apologies I have not been able to find a solution for you at this time, but I hope that the developer team can help.

Upon checking your APK, I was able to get ads on it as well on your provided ad unit ids on your previous response. To investigate this further, can you please provide your implementation on mediation test suite, so we can check it in our end? I am attaching here screenshot about mediation test suit 

Thank you for showing us your code sample, gradle file and screenshots. I couldn't find anything wrong with your implementation. According to RDP signal and Mediation you would look up each mediation partner in our mediation guide and follow instructions for CCPA compliance. For example, this Facebook's CCPA instructions.

The troubleshooting guidelines for open bidding may help. Also, are you still not receiving Interstitial ads from mediation?

For us to investigate this we will be needing a slightly modified project based on one of our sample apps with all your adaptors added, mediation modifications in our guide added and Charles proxy setup for Android. We will also need from you a Charles log of the ad request.

You may send this privately as I see we have your communication sent to us privately, or you can send it via our testing alias mobileads...@gmail.com with a post on this thread once you have done so.

Hello Team,

My question is everything is okay? so why interstitial ads are not showing? Banner and Native ads are showing. 

My facebook open bidding is working with banner and Native ads with same app but interstitial ads not working in same app, how it's possible? Not only facebook ads but other open bidding platform that have not require 3rd party SDK like mobfox and pubmatic also not working with interstitial ads, but banner and native ads are working in same app. Let me know how it is possible? you are telling me everything are set up and implementation is correct so why my app not able to serve ads with open bidding interstitial ads?

I work along with Princess and Aryeh. Allow me to assist you in this.

I understand the urgency of your concern here. However, it's hard for us to debug further as we don't have a full visibility of your implementation although Princess mentioned that she was able to load an ad using your APK. This is the reason why my colleague, Aryeh, is requesting for a slightly modified project based on one of our sample apps with all your adaptors and mediation modifications in our guide added. In addition, sometimes, that the implementation is fine, and you're just getting a no fill error that is why there is no ads showing on your app. This is the reason why Aryeh is requesting for a Charles log capturing the ad request as well.

The requested information mentioned above will greatly help us order to actually make any progress in diagnosing this. Your app's add request might fail and resulted to no fill error due to one of your mediation chain setup, or there is an implementation issue on your interstitial ad request.

Hello Team,

Recently I have run a small investigation about Interstitial ads, banner ads, and native ads in all my apps.

So the result is showing: I have set up interstitial ads with rdp signal (CCPA), so I am not showing open bidding ads, and banner and native ads have not set CCPA so I am showing ads with open bidding.  

Let me know how to restrict data processing work and set it for a particular California region? Or do I need to do any changes in my app? 

Currently I have just only set up this code in interstitial ads: 

Bundle networkExtrasBundle = new Bundle();
networkExtrasBundle.putInt("rdp", 1);
AdRequest request = new AdRequest.Builder()
   .addNetworkExtrasBundle(AdMobAdapter.class, networkExtrasBundle)
   .build();

Let me know any problems with this implementation?

Thank you for your response.

As per checking on the documentation, you implementation is same as on creating RDA signal request. It shouldn't have a problem in using it if you wish to notify Google that RDP should be enabled using Google's signal, use the key rdp for the extras parameter and gad_rdp for SharedPreferences.

For you question on restrict data processing, base on what is mentioned on the documentation, the publishers should decide for themselves how restricted data processing can support their compliance plans and when it should be enabled. It is possible to use both optional parameters at the same time, although they have the same effect on Google's ad serving.
