Fill rate != impression / total requests any more?

Hi list

I have a game using admob about 2 months, and everything is going well. But starting from 2013/04/21, the fill rate became strange to me. The fill rate is not "The percentage of impressions served based on total requests for ads" any more. Please see my attach image, the fill rate field calculation is incorrect from 2013/04/21. Does anyone have the same situation?

I am using admob v6.2.1, banner ad, no ad network mediation. During the last 2 month, my fill rate is always high at 99~100%.

That is pretty weird that the fill rate calculations are off. Are these numbers from an AdMob site id reporting or mediation reporting?

Hi Eric,

These numbers are from AdMob site id reporting. I hide the Revenue/eCPM columns, because I think they are irrelevant.

Today, I am still seeing this situation. The displayed fill rate is showing 97.21~99.83%, but the calculated impressions/requests ratio (55~94%) is much lower than that. 

Do you have any thought about this situation, or do I need to provide other info for you to analyze it?

I've filed a bug for this internally. I'm not sure if it's the impression count or the fill rate calculation that is wrong, but clearly they both can't be right.

Hi YH,

It turns out that some of your impressions were CPM impressions. So the fill rate was technically correct, we just weren't displaying those impressions.

For those who have had some CPM impressions served to their app, there is now a breakdown between CPC and CPM impressions in your reporting.
