Hi,

App ID: ca-app-pub-2646425486709340~3145056637
Ad Unit ID: ca-app-pub-2646425486709340/9032109459

I have an iOS app that I have integrated with AdMob, which serves Banner Ads. I was approved on AdMob and launched on the iOS App Store, and successfully displayed ads with a 99%+ fill rate for a couple of weeks.

On Sunday 10/29, my fill rate abruptly dropped to 0%. There were no updates made to the app, nor any updates made to my account. My policy center shows no violations or any other irregularities.

Upon investigation, I can see that when I request an Ad using my Banner Ad ID, I receive an error: "Error Domain=com.google.admob Code=1 "Request Error: No ad to show."". Using the Test Ad ID still works as expected.

Can you help me understand why my fill rate has suddenly dropped to 0?

Thanks,
Jack

Hello,

I tried the provided information on our sample app and can replicate the no fill error. The no fill error means an ad serving issue which indicates there are no ads available at request time. Please note this behavior isn't controlled by the Mobile Ads SDK. Since this is a newly published app, it may take a few days for ads to appear in new apps and/or ad units. The next step for you would be to reach out to the Product Support Team for further assistance regarding the ad serving concern.

Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin,

Thanks for taking a look! The link that you provided appears to take me to the AdMob community forum. I'm happy to create a post there, but I would like to get in contact with further representatives from Google/AdMob about this issue. Would you be able to escalate my concern internally to the Product Support Team as well?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,

At this time the forum is the best escalation path to address your concern. It is monitored internally and externally to help you resolve your issue.
