Delay in Banner ad loading

I am integrating Banner ads using Google mobile ads sdk with below gradle dependency : 
implementation 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads:21.3.0'

I have noticed that It takes around 8-10seconds to give me onAdLoaded() callback. 
Will there be any known reason of having this much delay ?
Also is there any default timeout available for banner ad integration ?

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.

It is always recommended to use the latest versions of the SDK. As of today, the latest version of the Google Mobile Ads Android is 24.5.0. Please check in this and confirm.

As per this setHttpTimeoutMillis(int), the default ad request timeout in AdMob is 60 seconds, You can override it (minimum 5 seconds), but this doesn’t apply to third-party mediation networks.

I have checked in our Google Sample Application and was able to load the ads within 2 seconds. To investigate the issue further, I'd appreciate it if you could provide us with the below information:

• Charles file

• Sample project reproducing issue

Additionally, can you please confirm if you are able to see the delay in Google Sample Application.
