Assuming that you are not using any of the ad targeting options (or are using the "do not restrict" ones), you may then want to reach out to the AdMob Help Center for further assistance on this ad-serving-related concern. The product specialists there may have better insights to share on this.

We assume that Google independently assigned our application to the category for

And at the level of the advertising request it was not what kind of advertising in this application to show us

But nothing has changed!
We’ve set up advertising in the appropriate way, following all the rules and we want 
interest-based advertising and remarketing ads to appear in our application again.
Revenue decreased by 50%
Please help us turn this back on!
