Auto close feature unavailable in rewarded video ads

Hai,

I have an app to monetise. I have used rewarded videos in AdMob with mediated networks Chartboost, Tapjoy and Unity. I need to show an custom alert when user tries to close an ad in between. But only the rewardBasedVideoAdDidClose delegate gets called when ad is closed in middle or at last. so am unable to find if user tries to close the ad in between or at last. Also once close button clicked I need to show an custom alert and prevent ad from dismiss but I don't have the control to stop ad from dismiss after clicking the close button. Do you have support for auto close if video play is completed or any suggestions regarding this scenario.

Hi there,

I'm afraid that the Mobile Ads SDK does not have any API methods to automatically close a Rewarded Video ad upon finishing. While I am not able to comment on other Ad Networks, Rewarded Video Ads from AdMob do show an alert dialog when a user tries to close the ad when the ad has not yet finished, as shown on the attached screenshot. However, this is not customizeable as well.
