Placement of banner ad

I want to place banner ad in my activity. The activity has toolbar at the top, and navigation control(32 dp height and match parent width) for jumping to previous/next comment, at the bottom.

I would like to place banner ad 320*50 at the bottom of activity. Is it okay? There are no accidental clicks when using.

It will reduce the screen size significantly. What should be the height of border?

The height of the border would be dependent on the design of your application. It should also have sufficient space to separate your content with the ad.
