AdMob Copyright question

       Hello all!

    I have managed to create and maintain a video channel on YouTube, consisting in various video materials. I didn't had any problems so far, from the point of view of copyright issues.

    Recently I discovered a mobile app in GooglePlay that provides YouTube embed videos. This app is using AdMob advertising. Some of the videos belong to me, but they appear in this app because the developer used the embed option.
 
    Now comes the question: Is this app violating any copyright or AdMob policies considering that the video content is not owned by the developer but the app is using AdMob? What if the app wouldn't use AdMob but would show up as a paid app in store?

This is a forum for technical issues involving the AdMob SDK, so I can't really comment on either Play Store or AdMob policies in general.  I can, however, tell you that Play Store publishers are required to abide by the Developer Content Policy:


It specifically forbids impersonating someone else, though that doesn't necessarily preclude display YouTube videos created by others. If you're particularly concerned, it's possible to disable embedding of your videos:
