Hello,
I found one of my apps does not show admobs, although I had not proceed any update.
To solve this problem, I tried to install sample apps (https://github.com/googleads/googleads-mobile-android-examples
and I cannot show any admobs.

For investigating problem, I installed several apps in this site (https://www.google.co.kr/admob/success.html).
I also found none of those apps shows in just one android phone.

However, I found that other my android phones show admobs as usual, while just one phone does not show any admobs in every apps.

Can you tell me why just one phone do not show any abmob, in any playstore apps?

The tested troublesome phone is SM-G930S , serial number R39H60D1WK, IMEI 35550007641844.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for doing extra work to test this out in different scenarios which helped narrow down the scope of our testing.

Given the result of your testing scenarios, we can confirm that the issue is not specific to your code implementation of the Mobile Ads SDK nor with the SDK itself. It is very likely that the issue is specific to that device as it is only reproducible on that device which I believe is a Samsumg Galaxy S7.

That said, for us to investigate further, could you provide to us the following information privately using Reply privately to author option?
  • Complete device logs including error logs when Ads failed to load in that device
  • If possible, Charles logs (here are setup instructions) when the Ads failed to load in that device. The Charles logs will really help us have a closer look on this as it gives us the Request and Response data captured.
On the other hand, this is not considered as a workaround nor an absolute fix, but for testing purposes, is it possible for you to do a factory reset and/or reset the advertising identifier (Google Settings > Ads > Reset advertising ID) of your affected device and see if test ads are loading afterwards?

Regards,
Ivan Bautista
