Text Ad Style not Working

Hi,

I am trying to change text ad style. I have changed the background color, however I can't see this change on the ads in my iOS app (iPhone). I have waited for several days for this change to take effect but in vain.

I don't know why the UI settings wouldn't work, but I've had more success defining this directly in the app (see example).

Thank you for your reply. So does this means the problem is in my app, or is it in AdMob portal and would be fixed soon? I don't think changing the color from my app would be a good solution. I need to try several colors, I don't have something specific in my mind now. Code-based solution won't be a flexible one (specially that we wait for 10 days or so for Apple to accept new updates).

Hey Osama,

This is an issue on AdMob's side - the colors you set in the front-end should be respected. I've opened a bug to track this.

Colors set in the app would override colors set in the front-end. The color overrides in-app works but understandably it's not ideal to hardcode them in your app.
